Live out your dream job with the Marine Mammal Trainer for a Day program, where you’ll spend time side-by-side with experts caring for our dolphins at the National Museum of Bermuda. This behind the scenes and exclusive dolphin experience is perfect for aspiring animal care professionals, animal lovers, and ocean advocates seeking a once-in-a-lifetime connection with dolphins and their trainers in Bermuda.
Program Content:
- 60 minutes with dolphins.
- Spend time with our amazing dolphins and experience what it’s like to be a marine mammal trainer.
- Guests spend time alongside our marine mammal specialists and dolphins and participate in dolphin health exams, dolphin training sessions, dolphin play time, and dolphin programs for guests.
- Learn through hands-on instruction how our marine mammal specialists use positive reinforcement and affection to create strong relationships and trusting bonds with our dolphins.
- Learn about careers working with dolphins and marine mammals.
- Participation in an in-water interactive dolphin encounter is included during this experience.
Program Pricing:
- $850/person.
- Can accommodate up to 2 participants for $850/person if guests are together.
Program Logistics:
- Guests will receive a complimentary Dolphin Quest logo item keepsake.
- Guests receive a 5”x7” Marine Mammal Trainer in Action photo of themselves that they get to choose.
- Life jackets are required and provided.
- Swim masks are provided for underwater viewing.
- Dolphin Quest photographer will take photos of guests during their encounter.
- Digital photo packages are available for advance purchase at a special rate during booking.
- Digital or print photo options are available for same day viewing and purchase after encounter.
- To ensure the safety of our dolphins, no cameras, phones, GoPros, or loose valuables are permitted on the docks or in the water.
- Bring a swimsuit as you will be interacting with our dolphins from our docks and in the water, and a sun-shirt/rash guard is highly recommended.
- Complimentary lockers, outdoor showers, and changing rooms available for guests.
- Wetsuits are available for guests during December through March.
- Swim shoes are available during the summer months.
- We recommend guests bring their own towels.
