OPERATION GRACE

The National Marine Mammal Foundation (NMMF) is leading an innovative initiative to save at-risk, threatened, and endangered dolphins, porpoises, and whales from the brink of extinction. Through Operation GRACE (Global Rescue of At-Risk Cetaceans and Ecosystems), Dolphin Quest and the NMMF are taking a collaborative, community-based approach to rescuing aquatic mammals from extinction.

Dolphin Quest partnered with NMMF to help launch Operation GRACE in 2022 with a $250,000 founding donation enabling the NMMF to apply their unique veterinary and conservation expertise to protect and conserve at-risk aquatic animals.  But there’s so much more work to be done.

Dolphin Quest has assembled a group of marine animal advocates, who are committed to protecting our planet and who respect, value, and work to conserve our living ocean.

We stay in touch with our team members via email to share ocean conservation news and updates related to the aquarium and zoo community. Members also have the opportunity to actively participate in animal advocacy initiatives affecting marine animals in human care and in the wild.
