Program Content:
- 30-minute interactive lessons taught by our Education Specialists.
- 10-15-minute shallow water dolphin interaction where every student will touch a dolphin.
- Age-appropriate content that includes a conservation component.
- Aligns with grade-level Next Generation Science Standards.
- Includes a digital group photo of students on the beach with our dolphins.
- Also includes any informal photos taken of student-dolphin interactions.
Program pricing:
- Fall season (August-December)
- $20/local student
- $30/student in multiple age groups, or non-resident student
- Spring season (January-May)
- $25/local student
- $35/student in multiple age groups, or non-resident student.
- Grants are available with priority given to Title 1 public schools.
Program Logistics:
- This program is for grade levels pre-school through middle school.
- Can accommodate between 8-24 students at one time.
- Larger groups of 25-48 students available with prior arrangement.
- Life jackets are provided for all students, which must be worn in the water.
- Bathrooms, outdoor showers, and changing rooms onsite.
- Groups required to coordinate their own transportation to and from Dolphin Quest.
- When utilizing buses or vans, advanced notice is required.
Booking Process:
- Field trip availability varies from August through May each year.
- Field trips are conducted from 10am-11:30am.
