Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of our younger guests is important to us. Dolphin Quest is a general audience site, and we do not knowingly collect information about children on our Web site. Do you share information with Third-Party Vendors?
Dolphin Quest will not sell your information to other vendors without your knowledge or consent. Dolphin Quest does work with Third-Party Vendors to operate our online photo sales and online reservation system. We may need to provide these vendors with information to complete the sale or reservation process. We take every effort to secure your information so it is kept private during this process.
How do we Protect the Security of your Information?
We protect our customer databases with various technical and procedural measures to maintain information security. We also restrict access to your information by unauthorized persons. Our networks and servers are maintained behind hardware and/or software firewalls to protect and isolate them from access by other networks connected to the Internet. We also inform all Dolphin Quest and Quest Global Management Crew Members about their responsibility to protect customer information, and we provide them with the appropriate guidelines for adhering to our company’s customer service standards and confidentiality policies.
The Dolphin Quest Web site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for our online reservation system and our online shopping center when guests submit a program reservation or shopping order to our databases. The SSL technology is the electronic commerce standard for securing information as it travels over the Internet. This technology is designed to encrypt your information, preventing an unauthorized party from viewing and downloading your information. Your Web browser should display a Web address with an “https” prefix, indicating that the SSL technology is operating when using certain areas of our Web site.
Usage of E-mail Addresses
If you reserve a program for one of our locations and provide us with your e-mail address while reserving your program you will receive an automatic e-mail from our reservation system as your program confirmation. Guests who provide us with their e-mail during the reservation or check in process will be added to our guest e-mail database. At this time, guests are added to this database after they have attended a program. You will then be sent an e-mail to “Thank you” for your visit and to let you know when you will receive e-mails from us in the future. You may opt of this database at any time, and will be given an opportunity in the first e-mail you receive. You also can go to the Contact us page on our Web site, just scroll to bottom and look for the title “E-newsletter Subscription Updates.”
E-mails collected for our online photo store will be used for communication about your order. We may use your e-mail address for further communication regarding additional services or new products.
If you e-mail us and we need to contact you, we will use the information you provide us with to contact you or the information that we have on file for you in our customer databases. We will not add you to our database unless you direct us to add you to our customer e-mail database. Sometimes we receive comments that we would like to post on our Web site.
Do We Link to Other Websites?
Dolphin Quest does provide links to our location partners and other resources that might be helpful for our visitors. Unless noted otherwise, a link to another Web site does not mean that we are responsible for, or that we endorse the content or policies of that Web site.
